Interested in joining Frontrunners 21?
Our application process is open to Deaf individuals from around the world who are eager to develop their leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Applicants should have a passion for social change and a desire to contribute to their Deaf community. The programme includes a mix of theoretical learning and practical exercises to apply skills in real-world settings.

If you choose Module 1+2 (32 weeks) from August 2025 to May 2026, the cost will be 86,000 DKK.
​
If you choose only one course (16 weeks), the cost will be 45,000DKK.
The deadline for each module will be the month before the 1st of the month.

Frontrunners+ 5

Frontrunners+ is designed for individuals over 35 who want to engage in non-formal education, develop leadership and teamwork skills, and explore Deaf identities while exchanging a variety of cultures from around the world.
We will visit Aarhus, where you can experience beautiful arts and learn the true meaning of communication through active listening. And, of course, we will go winter bathing in Silkeborg.
With a maximum of 20 participants, this programme offers a unique opportunity to connect with an international community. Come and join us to secure your place!

Tasterweek 26
1st - 8th March 2026
During this week, we will explain what you will learn in Frontrunners 21, which will help you decide whether to join FR22 or even FR23. We will answer your questions on various topics related to Deaf Studies, core subjects, and general subjects.
This Tasterweek will be different from previous ones, as we will focus on a core topic each day.
Additionally, we will host our annual Danish Volleyball tournament. You are very welcome to join a team with other participants and compete against others—you never know, you might be the first Tasterweek team to win the tournament!
The total cost is 2,000DKK, covering transport from Hedensted train station, meals, accommodation, classes, and the volleyball weekend. Travel expenses to Denmark are not included.

Frontrunners Beyond Borders is an exciting new addition to the Frontrunners World — joining Tasterweek, and Frontrunners+.
We’re kicking off with our first trip to the Republic of Ireland, where you’ll experience a variety of activities including surfing, workshops, traditional pubs, local cuisine, guided tours, and much more.
We'll explore both Dublin and the stunningly green west of Ireland — a perfect blend of culture, nature, and adventure.
Get ready for one unforgettable week of Frontrunners-style energy and exploration!
Open to all aged 18 and up.
Designed for anyone who wants to experience the unique spirit of a Frontrunners study trip and build global connections.

Transportation/Visa costs are not covered. Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel to and from Ireland and visa costs.

Focus Week is a brand-new offering from Frontrunners, designed for those who want a deeper dive into one of our core subjects without committing to the full 32-week program.

Each Focus Week centers on a specific topic from the Frontrunners curriculum. You’ll spend one week fully immersed in hands-on learning, group discussions, and creative activities, all in the unique Frontrunners style.

Whether you’re curious about joining Frontrunners in the future or simply want to grow in a specific area, Focus Week is your chance to get a taste of the full experience.

Are you interested in teaching our students for a day or 2-5 days on your specific topics? You are welcome to apply, and we will get back to you.
We encourage diverse educators to enhance the experience for our international students, rather than focusing solely on a Western teaching perspective.
We will cover your fees and return travel costs, which will depend on your experience and the journey from your home to Castberggård.
